Providing Leadership for A Changing Economy

About Rehan

rehanbioheadshotRehan is a corporate lawyer and trusted business advisor who assists companies as a general outside counsel practicing in all areas of business/corporate law, tax, securities, and financing. With broad experience in corporate law, Rehan acts as outside general counsel for companies with either a specific business challenge or a variety of legal needs faced throughout the full life cycle – start up to exit– of a business. He is the
highest level of business lawyer that Colorado has to offer and has run an award-winning independent law practice for a decade supporting and mentoring others along the way.

Rehan relates to his clients and understands the challenges of owning and operating a business as he has done so successfully many times for himself over the years. He changed the business and tech landscape as an original founder of Galvanize, InCubate, and Kenzie Academy. He has mentored other business owners for years through his work with The Unreasonable Group. This accelerator program seeks to support the innovative business professionals that are tackling some of the biggest problems we face on a global scale including the future of fusion energy and solar powered farming initiatives.

Rehan is also well positioned to advise on non-legal needs, such as strategic planning, to proactively strengthen a company and create a better-run business. His understanding of the global business ecosystem, including its strengths, challenges, successes, and failures is second to none. Rehan holds a LL.M in taxation from New York University, which is the most prestigious graduate tax program in the world. His deep understanding of tax law has made him “the” local Denver Metro area resource on the sophisticated aspects of business tax practice. As outside business counsel, he has been involved in corporate restructuring and specialized tax and business setup plans for companies in a variety of areas including tech, mining, real estate.

Rehan is known in the legal community for being a champion of diversity that will start and lead initiatives that our community needs. His career has intentionally included service to others including impactful work with the ACLU of Colorado, the Colorado LGBT Bar Association, and the founding of the South Asian Bar Association of Colorado. In 2020, he was honored to be listed as “highly commended” by Chambers USA for the Diversity & Inclusion Lawyer of the Year award. Additionally, as a trained actor and multi-instrumentalist he is a devoted advocate of arts and culture.
